We are revisiting some of those classic Bible stories, often a staple of Sunday school classes, where we think we know what they're about - often simple morality tales - and examining whether there is anything more in there that connects with our real (and often confusingly messy) experience of God and everyday life.
Today Dave looks at one of Jesus’ most famous parable - where even the name we’ve given it misses the point.
In Sunday School this is a cautionary tale to promote good, respectable behaviour, but today we see that ‘The Parable of the Prodigal Son’ is about something far more profound.
