Giving
Exeter Vineyard Church runs entirely on the generous donations of members - time, energy and money.
If you’re part of the church family and would like to contribute towards the financial costs of doing church you can give in a number of ways.
Donating is not required or expected, but we do believe generosity is a characteristic of God’s Kingdom and healthy for our souls.
Every year we provide feedback about the church’s financial activities. You can see last year’s report here.
Ways to donate financially
You can make a one-off donation or give regularly. Regular giving helps us to be able to plan for future activities.
Our preferred method of receiving donations is through online bank transfer to our account. None of the donation is lost to fees in this method.
If you would like the details of our bank so you can set up a transfer, click here and we will email the details to you.
You can also make a one off donation online here, using our bank’s online donation function. The the bank takes a small fee our of the donation.
You can also make a donation of cash or cheque by giving it to a member of staff at a Sunday Service or sending to our postal address. We have policies in place to ensure cash and cheques are handled responsibly and transparently. Please note, cheques take a long time to process.
It is really helpful if you can let our Finance Officer, Ken, know about any new or changes to donations. You can email him on finance@exe.vin
Gift Aid
As a registered charity, we are able to claim back the tax paid on any donation towards our work. If you are a UK Tax Payer, registering for Gift Aid increases your donation by 25%.
