God’s Name - 5. Maintaining Love…

We are working through John Mark Comer’s book “God Has A Name”. The book explores how God reveals himself to us, concentrating on Exodus 34:6-7 - the most quoted passage in the Bible by the Bible.

In this talk we look at the whole of verse 7: “Maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.”

Dave looks at this passage and how the uncomfortable bits are actually good news.
