REPORTS
Youth Sponsored Cycle
Last month a group of our teenagers did a 40km cycle ride, camping overnight in Exmouth. They were raising money for World Vision and children in extreme hunger.
They rose £1,141 in sponsorship money! In fact, if you want to, you can still donate here.
October’s Contributing Church
For our two Sunday Services in October we didn’t have anyone give a talk. Instead we left space for people to share something they felt God wanted us to know or think about.
On the second service we collated all the contributions and got a computer to summarise it. This is what we - collectively - felt God was saying to us:
The Holy Spirit is inviting Exeter Vineyard to trust God’s unchanging provision, surrender into Jesus’ rest, root deeply in prayer and identity, and step out together in courageous, encouraging, relational mission — expecting protection, healing, and fresh 'God stories'.
It was a really encouraging time to try something out. We want to continue to leave space for people to be able to share what they feel God might be saying (or prompting and nudging) so please pray before and at our service, asking God to lead us.
Christmas Service
On Sunday 21st December we will move our Sunday Service to 4pm. This will be a more festive service with seasonal refreshments afterwards.
